That was truly awsome! She methodically worked that rope to get at it. Thank you.

 

I enjoyed it too - and it reminded me that I need to be more cognizant in hanging the barrel correctly.

 

When the bear was done playing with the barrel did she go after the canoe?

 

That's one women I would not be inviting into bear country.

I know that I often talk to my dog like he's another guy...the reality is that he is a dog by whatever name. So why would a woman be talking to a bear like he's her boyfriend?

Using bear spray is more than pushing a button with the hopes that it just might hit the target - hello! it's considered to be a protective weapon. I wouldn't be asking anything from a bear. I would be taking an aggressive stance with the intention of being successful.

But then again what would we talk about if we didn't have these tales to share?

...the only time I can out run a dog is when something is chasing me because there "ain't" no human with me.
