        That is really great to hear - I mean - you are active and living life. Father Abbott delivered a paper last year entitled, "If you are alive - live life." A good idea actually. ...sure hope you are able to get away for a weekend or two.

        Waiting is hard to do but I can appreciate your circumstance. I had to cancel one of our trips last year because I was called back (to work). Sometimes we do what we just have to do.
        Right now I'm camping in the back - just like I kid, I have a tent set up in the back to enjoy. It's about two weeks before our next trip.

        My 16 days in Algonquin were cold and wet. It looks like another peculiar summer for us all. I have 2 trips in August that I hope are a lot better. Then...I will be away for 2 weeks in September.

        We used to sing songs around the campfire, and I love doing that ! It has been years since I have done that. The kids and I used to build a nice bonfire and sit around it and sing songs when they were younger, and we all had a good time singing together.
        Maybe you can make us a video of the campfire songs this summer ?

    I am a senior lady, grew up in Northern Idaho, and now live in the Sunny South and don't miss the snow a bit.
    When I lived in Idaho, we did a lot of camping and fishing; so even though I am not going to be sleeping on the ground in a sleeping bag at my age, I still have a lot of happy memories of going camping.
