The survivalist kind I guess you would call it. Go with the minimum. We usually just get our dogs and cats (yes, we take our two cats), grab a tent and some basic supplies, hunting and fishing gear, and a couple days food. We just go until we need to get back. LOL
Though, not really a survivalist, I can sure identify with your style. I tend to be away for weeks a time if I can - and yep, I take my dog Reese (a Black Lab.). Glad you joined us - we could use some more fresh blood on the site.
Glad to be here and thank you. We have 7 dogs. Right now we are living in an RV on our 40 acres out in the middle of no where no access to electrical lines or water lines... so we are kind of on a permanent camping trip at the moment. LOL
WOW! You really are camping. Though I am a four season camper - already planning for the winter in our neck of the woods, so to speak - I spend most of the summer away. I have nine tents for various excursions and possibilities. I usually have a base camp and from there go into the interior to do my thing.
LOL yeah, but what a view we got. We are living in Nevada.. the nearest city is 46 miles away. The nearest "town" is 16 miles away as well as a paved road. I live 16 miles down dirt roads surrounded by mountains.
