    CHECK IT OUT... :pompous:

Other than Gear Junkie, 50 CAMPFIRES is one of the very top camping magazines in the market today and it is free. The February issue has a lot about winter camping. It is seasonal, up-to-date and the writers are excellent. It covers just about every topic imaginable with flare, enthusiasm and interest. You can have it come to your box by registering fort the same. I've read a lot of mags and this one ranks very high in my estimation. I endorse it.

Those falls are excellent to go see. Plus you are with in an hours drive of the Blue Ridge Parkway and Biltmore Estates.

We stayed in Asheville and took the drive around the falls. It was a large loop around on a well maintained dirt road. We didn't do a lot of the hikes to some of the falls because of the weather. We spent all day in that area looking at them. It was great. There is some excellent hiking. Google looking glass falls Brevard NC, and you can see this satellite image. There is also a large rock in the middle of the loop that people hike to.[IMG]
