Took a stroll today in a local park. We were going to go bicycle riding on the towns green belt, but due to heavy rains the creek it follows was over parts of the trail 7c811442144296ecd73632b89f358d80.jpg Got her! She hates having her picture taken. Yes that is the misses.

Starting of the trail f3b84c70882250c5bb56a7622863bb9a.jpg That is the only bridge. They opened up an off trail that led to an overlook and also loops and comes out further up the trail. Yay new ground I haven't seen before! 5fc8d835be62c5e70874dfd1b2524e48.jpg The trail was a little muddy 53e5beb10a63db652c1a7820cb28be64.jpg 835beccd70b61b6ebdea8acd3e43ac49.jpg me with my floppy hat and dog wood staff. This tree shows some burn on it from fires last fall fb89c995ff347f4d29fcfaafeffc09d9.jpg luckily it was mostly the underbrush that got burned. The trillion has already boomed. The laurel was blooming now 79534daadf299f06926ec4f424a92a19.jpg People love swimming at falls e39faac429a2ab4c1173d525d8e12088.jpg a few pictures of the trails 716d0a323538dd13c4f171f30e847d8b.jpg 81e734062808a66d382b7923ddc6681d.jpg 0680018211b28bd7fa293f510d180a26.jpg I let wifey go first and find the spider webs and muddy areas 9287fe245b02f3ce116308f943941b8d.jpg It was a good morning for hiking. Then we went out to eat at restaurant on the river 0d5e5e0004905b2463469ad013857147.jpg and bought a rain tree that barely fit in the subaru 22b7c4025cae05b53c37283a665a4f6c.jpg We love trees.

Wow, you've got a nice park there. And I presume that it is near your home. With the hustle and bustle of city life , a walk in a park like that is truly refreshing. Our village has a small park with big trees as old as a century but it's not a forest park. I wish that we can preserve forest parks for the benefit of the next generations.

It is so nice when you can take an easy day and still get a lot of the outdoors and nature that you would on a hike or something. We do not have that many spots around here but there are a few.
