Body Recovered from Chambly Basin

MONTREAL – Chambly police have confirmed that a body recovered from the Chambly Basin on Monday afternoon is that of Remy Nolet. Nolet, 19, disappeared two weeks ago when a boat he was in capsized.

Catherine Desautels, 17, was with Nolet at the time of the accident, but she survived after he insisted she take the only life jacket on board.

They may not look fashionable

Wow, how terribly sad . Some people like to scoff at safety and use of proper equipment but it truly does save lives. Awful for both those kids.
