Bugs That Annoy You While Camping & Hiking

    We all know their out there just waiting for the chance to bite or swarm around your head and eyes, till you about to go crazy. We know about many of the repellents and things to do after a hike to prevent illness, but it is always great to hear from someone who hikes a lot and how he protects himself and his gear in the forest. Hope you learn a few new tips for the trail.

    Not just bugs but insects of all kinds, they are really annoying especially during bedtime when you have settled inside the tent and relaxing. There was a time that we were attacked by ants. Coincidentally, we were in the campsite resort last Sunday for a day trip. There were so many ants around. Our housemaid didn't notice the ant hill where she was standing with our dog. It took us 30 minutes to remove all the ants that attacked our dog with a thick coat. Mosquitoes and flies are also irritating. But the most dreaded is the spider and the scorpion.

    Other than the heat, the bugs are another reason I don't camp in the hottest part of summer. Oh how I long for cooler weather and sleeping outdoors.
