Candies for token

Whenever I would go somewhere, it was my habit to bring hard candies because it can deaden hunger and thirst. But in camping trips, I bring a pack as much as possible because that is my way of establishing rapport with the people in the campsite especially when I was younger that we frequented tribal areas to camp. It's nice to see the tribal kids follow me everywhere after giving them candies. Even the adults could feel my generosity when I hand them a couple of candies. But now campsites are not that remote anymore and attendants prefer cash than candies.
