Hunting exotic food

I had already mentioned that I used to tag along to my father in some of his hunting expeditions. But i was not able to have a taste of the exotic food in his stories. Who among you have eaten frogs? I did in many occasions but I have yet to taste bat meat, monkey meat and the reptile called "bayawak" which looks like a small crocodile. My father said that hunters should not be choosy with food because it is better to eat anything than to go hungry. Maybe those exotic foods that hunters eat was the main reason why I didn't become a hunter.
