Just a little fishing storye

I was around 12 when my father brought me along to his fishing haunt. It was a fish pen that is a few kilometers from the shore and we went there by a banca or small boat together with the fish pen owner. The fish pen was made of bamboo poles and there is a sort of platform where we can stay. I was given a nylon thread with a hook at the end and my father gave me instructions on how to fish inside the fish pen. It was surprising that the fish easily took the bait. I mean the bait was gone and it happened many times until I learned the proper way of placing the worm on the hook. To end the story, I was able to catch more than 5 fish as big as the hand of my father. But the fish pen owner said that I had caught that many inside the fish pen but it is a different story outside the fish pen.
