Mung beans is also called Mongo beans in Asia. It is the small beans similar to BB ammo in shape and size. Bean sprouts is a good source of carbohydrate and protein which a camper would need. The procedure is simple. All you have to do once settled in the campsite is to soak the mung beans in water for 30 minutes and then transfer it to a wet cloth that is really wet so the beans will germinate. On the next day, expect the beans to have sprouted and there, you can inlcude the bean sprouts in cooking whatever you have caught in the woods.
