"Ya know - canvass tents, Dutch ovens, kerosene lanterns, cast iron frying pans and smokin a sea-gar around the campfire?' As he painted the scene for me I said, "Yes," I can visualize what you are talking about."

We/I get so caught up with the latest equipment trends that I forget the romantic side of camp life. He may be right - the old ways are not bad ways - they simply were.

 

Amen to that, but I better pass on the sea-gar. I don't want to go through that again.
