Responsible camper - no cutting of trees

We go camping in the forest primarily because there are trees. Take away the trees and what’s left would be a prairie or savannah. I am posting this to stir our awareness in the trees in the campsite. Environmentalists are harping on the importance of trees and camper’s should be more aware of that. Never cut a tree when you are in the forest. I guess it’s okay to cut a branch that you will use but not the major branch. Let’s protect the trees so our campsite will remain in consonance with nature.
