If you've ever made kabobs on the barbeque then you'll love them cooked over the camp fire. Also very easy to swap out steak for chicken or pork.
    • 1/2 pound of boneless top sirloin steak, thick
    • 1 large bell pepper
    • 1 onion, cut into 8 chunks
    • 2 tablespoons of chopped cilantro
    • 2 teaspoons of hot pepper sauce
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil
    • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper (Optional)
Cut the steak into cubes. Combine the cilantro, pepper sauce, olive oil, garlic powder and red pepper in a medium bowl. Add steak and stir. Thread the beef, onion and bell pepper on skewers alternating pepper and meat. Place kabobs over medium-hot coals. Grill about 12 minutes for medium doneness, turning occasionally.

This looks awesome, but I really don't know if I could carry all that... maybe I can... maybe I can fashion up a stew or chili based on this. I'll give it a try I think.
