Who do you camp with?

    Pets? Family? Friends? Or do you camp alone?

    I usually go with friends because my family doesn't like the idea of camping. If I had a dog, I would bring him with me because dogs seem to love nature. I'm afraid to camp alone because of emergencies - I could never be survivorman.

    I usually camp with family or friends. When younger I used to go it alone quite often, but now my life is so full with other duties and health concerns that going camping alone would be a hardship. I like easy hikes and sitting around the camp fire talking and laughing with others, and would find camping alone lonely at my age.

    I camp with my boyfriend, and I grew up camping with my parents and brother. We have a newborn baby now so we haven't camped yet this year. I can't wait to get my son into camping and make it a family affair again.

    My boyfriend used to camp alone, and I'm really not comfortable with the idea. Like 2sweed said, it's just not safe due to health concerns.
