Do you still wear parka with a hood?

I wonder if there are campers here who still wear parka with a hood because it seems like the cap is more popular in tropical countries and the bonnet is more common in cold countries. I have posted this topic because I remembered the parka jacket that my father used to lend me. He would say that I should sleep with the hood on so my head will get an added protection in case the weather gets colder in the morning. I have no parka now because it's been a long time that I had camped with the boys.
