Hello from So Cal!

Hi everyone. I'm Tammy from Southern California. My family first started camping when my kids were young, many years ago, and we have enjoyed it ever since!! Our first trip was to Yosemite, and we had a bear come through our campsite. Scary but yet so cool at the same time. Where was everyone's first trip?

Welcome flipflopgirl. I guess the first time I can remember was about 1969 or 1970. We used to camp at a little lake in northern Michigan. We had a big Ole canvas tent. There was 6 of us kids, and we always had a blast.

I was born in Los Angeles, at Los Angeles County memorial. This was March of 1965. We moved to Michigan in 66, so I don't remember much about California.

Dad said there is sure some pretty country out that way. We are all ears.
